In actuality the current statistic proves that there are 1. 3 million abortions performed each year in the United States alone; that is almost 1000 times our schools population aborted in ONE year. The controversy surrounding the ethicality of abortions has been an emotionally debated topic during the past several decades. It is an argument where the human interactions of morals, emotions and law come together into one. Pro-life is morally sound, and depicts abortion as wrong and as murder, where in fact, it is.
Abortion not only withholds a scientific basis for why it is wrong, but abortion is immoral in all aspects including religiously and politically. A pro-life believer is against abortion. They believe that from the moment of conception, the embryo is alive and the mother has a moral obligation to preserve it. The fetus has a functioning brain and a heart; therefore has a right to life. In addition, although abortion is regarded as a women’s right under the American Constitution, it should be vetoed because the women is now in full responsibility of a new developing human inside of her thus she will be committing murder.

A Federal Crime, when aborting. Religion is highly influential and plays a big role in pro-life. Abortion is against the Bible and most religious communities reject abortion as well. Mother Teresa once stated that “it is a poverty to decide that a child must die so you may live as you wish. ” Abortion is the unnatural end of pregnancy. That child has the right to life, equal that of its mothers and any other United States citizen. Overall, pro-life is for life because everyone and everything has a right to life. Abortion is the process of ending a pregnancy by removing or killing the fetus inside a pregnant woman.
There are various ways in which one can do this process; by medical, surgical, or physical procedures. The medical process includes taking various drugs to end the pregnancy over a period of time. The surgical process includes injecting sharp tools in order to physically wound the fetus thus instantly ending its life. The physical process includes causing physical trauma to ones pregnant body. There are many physical and psychological effects of abortions. Physical complications may include excess bleeding, many different infections, or permanent cervical damage.
These physical effects can cause problems for future pregnancies. Specifically the physical risks include life threatening infections, perforation of the uterus, hemorrhage, cervical incompetence, cancer, and even death. In fact, Twenty-eight out of thirty-seven worldwide studies have independently linked induced abortion with breast cancer in women. Is this a risk America should allow our feminine population to undergo? The psychological effects following an abortion are very emotional. Many women go through a deep depression because they cannot cope with their decision.
A study taken by Minnesota reveals that women who have had an abortion have 10 times the risk of committing suicide than women who have not had an abortion, so while the mothers kills her baby she also is damaging herself. Among the psychological risks are regret, nervous disorders, sleep disturbances, sexual dysfunction, suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, eating disorders, child neglect or abuse, divorce or chronic relationship problems, and repeated abortion. It’s time to seriously think about whether or not abortion should be acknowledged as morally right.
Considered by some to be a form of murder, anti-abortion laws should apply to all women in order to prevent any emotional mishaps of the abortion victim and to save the lives of the innocent human beings not yet born. Moreover, the fetus represents the ideal citizen – utterly vulnerable and in need of government protection. Fetuses are ultimately silenced, and a victimized minority, in dire need and want for a loving family and place to call home. The only shield that enables the baby life is the mother, like God a mother can create a life within herself and that life shall never be taken for granted nor denied.
Every length, every measure, every law, every extent, every protection should be taken to give this baby a chance to live like all desires. Life is a human’s only privilege all law should defend. Abortion is the operation to terminate a pregnancy by removing a fetus or an embryo from the womb. A human’s life is significant in all stages and should not be taken away for any reason. The robbing of someone’s life at any point is morally wrong and is a crime according to religion and the law regarding murder. If one cannot assume the responsibilities of taking care of a human, then intercourse is not recommended.
The top reasons women give for having an abortion underscore their understanding of the responsibilities of parenthood and family life. Three-fourths of women cite concern for responsibility to other individuals; three-fourths say they cannot afford a child; three-fourths say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or the ability to care for dependents; and half say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner. I’m sorry, baby you’re just not worth my time, money or my sex-life; your just a burden.
If you examine pro-choice arguments for abortion, you will find the proponents using such terms as “tissue” and “grams of material”, yet these arguments fail to mention what these tissues truly consist of. In fact, the preborn human fetus is genetically a fully human being at the point of conception. The aborted fetus is not just a “blob of tissue. In fact, all the major organ systems are initiated within the first few weeks after conception. The process of embryonic development is a continuous process, with no obvious point at which the fetus magically becomes a “person. Science tells us that the heart of the human fetus begins to form 18 days after conception, and there is a measurable heart beat 21-24 days after conception. Since most women have cycles that can vary by this amount, they do not discover they are pregnant until after this point. Therefore, all abortions stop a beating heart, even “early” abortions. However, most abortions do not occur until 4-6 weeks after the fetus begins to form. The human brain begins to form on day 23 and can produce brain waves by 6 weeks, which means that most abortions destroy a functioning human brain.
Legal abortions can be performed all the way up until the sixteenth week of pregnancy, you can only imagine if at 6 weeks the baby has brain function then at 16 weeks the baby has many human functions. So, what do doctors find when they do abortions? A lump of tissue? An amorphous blob? I’ll tell you what they find. Here is a description of what the abortionist must look for to make sure that he has removed the entire fetus: Dr. David Brewer, a former abortionist described his first encounter with abortion. After all, abortion was just applying the technique of a D&C to a woman who was in a little different stage – she was pregnant.
A suction/D & C abortion is performed when the fetus is 6-12 weeks. The cervix is opened using an osmotic dilator. Then a curette (a thin metal rod with a knife-sharp loop at the end) is inserted into the uterus. The curette is used to dismember the fetus. After this, a cannula (a hollow plastic tube) attached to a suction aspirator is inserted to remove the fetus, placenta and uterine lining. These are captured by a stockinet attached to the end of the suction tube: “I opened the sock up and I put it on the towel and there were parts in there of a person. I’d taken anatomy; I was a medical student.
I knew what I was looking at. There was a little scapula [shoulder blade] and there was an arm, and I saw some ribs and a chest, and I saw a little tiny head, and I saw a piece of a leg, and I saw a tiny hand. … I checked it out and there were two arms and two legs and one head, etc. , and I turned and said, I guess you got it all … It was pretty awful that first time… it was like somebody put a hot poker into me. ” If women and their male sexual partners had to examine the results of their abortions, like the graphic results I just described, there would be a lot fewer abortions in the world.
As long as the fetus is just a “blob of tissue” abortion will continue to be widely practiced. This is why abortion advocates oppose any attempts to provide women with scientific, unbiased information on fetal development. Ignorance is bliss. Abortion is wrong. Many abortionists readily admit that abortion is the killing of a living being; hence they themselves know the baby is alive even when inside the womb. The science of embryology tells us that human beings develop rapidly after fertilization of the egg. All abortions stop a beating heart and majority also destroy a functioning brain.
Human life begins at conception, therefore since abortion ends human life, one must ask the question whether they want to take responsibility for murder of their own family. Many pro-choice believers would disagree completely with that statement yet what would you call stopping a beating heart intentionally? If abortion is not murder then what is it? What do you call deliberately exterminating a functioning human life? I call it murder. In The mothers womb, the child is seen as a foreign object. A foreign object that has the capabilities of becoming a beautiful child of our future generation.
Yet this so called foreign object is not so foreign; it is part of the mother, lives off the mother, has half of the mothers DNA, it is the mother. Why would a mother deny her child when the child is her? She is killing “her”. Foreign object, is not a name that does the baby justice. The baby is not foreign, it is not some alien, or some immigrant, or some unfamiliar creature, or inanimate thing, it is just a vulnerable human being. The baby eats, sleeps , and breathes inside the mother, but abortion silences this fetus, crushes it’s dreams, and most importantly takes an innocent life.
Abortion takes a piece of the mother she will never get back, it is an evil choice, a one way road, a “blob” of lost hope and unlived life. Every women can control having sex, and the urge to do so. I can, as a women control myself and take responsibility for my own actions. A women’s freedom does not cry let me be a whore! Yet many interpret our personal rights, as the rights so do as we please when we please. Yes, women have the right to their OWN body, and I am not trying to deny that right to any women, however, when pregnant, a women now shares her body therefore it is not just her OWN anymore.
Unfortunately, anti-abortion laws have not changed to protect this baby from the women (the mom) whom has the natural right to protect the fetus in the first place. America thrives on our future generations, hence children are the employees of tomorrow, but out future is being killed with injections, medications, sharp tools, and procedures, and the infamous coat hanger gag that in reality in not amusing. Baby one: Drunk night Baby two: Unprotected sex Baby three: Stupidity Three lives taken… Three friends gone… three family member… three grand children…. Three students….
Three influences that never were given the chance to influence… three laughs never heard; six eyes never saw the beauty of our earth, six feet never walked beside God through the journey of life. 30 fingers never touched the hearts of anyone, countless memories never made. Everyone deserves the right to life, fetus and adult. One women can murder as many children as she pleases legally as long as they are inside of her, One women can deprive the world of as many friends as she deems necessary because she wants to. One law can ban the death of 1. 3 million children a year.
