I saw a graceful young lady who I had talked to before once. The petite girl wore a white wedding dress, with beautiful gold lace decorating it. Her face lit up and she pranced out, hugging me merrily. The amphitheatre exploded with noise.

Bells, cheering, singing and other celebrations erupted, but I felt myself feeling angry. She never loved me! I looked around one more time for my princess lover. All I wanted was to see her. I needed to know where she had gone off to after I opened the door. Then all at once I saw her. She was running to the door with the tiger in it! The entire theater noticed her also. The love of my life was crying and screaming, bounding towards the iron door holding the beast! All of the people in the arena yelled in horror; for they too could be attacked by the tiger. I broke free from the wedding and galloped towards the princess. She saw me and did not stop. “Please don’t do this! I shouted out to my princess, but she grabbed the door and swung it open with confidence; much like I did. The tiger stalked out of its cage and my lover, with tears in her eyes told me she was sorry in a final scream. The beast lashed out at my lovers chest, making her stumble backwards. The fight between my petite princess and the tiger had started. How long would she suffer? She was no match for this animal. With its strong hind legs, It pounced and threw her on the ground. Everyone screamed and tried to escape the arena. I walked closer in shock towards the animal.
I felt my knees give in as I watched in despair. The tiger continued to attack my princess. It latched onto her neck and punctured her windpipe. I saw her trying to gasp for air but none came to her. The beast’s claws dug deeply into the side of the woman as her blood began to cover the ground. Pieces of flesh were thrown across the arena from the tigers strong jaw. The ripping and tearing of tissue and entrails could be heard. The crowd was now in a panic and since everyone was trying to escape at the same time fights broke out. The arena was chaos!
The king looked at what was happening and instead of helping, he too turned away and fled like his daughter had. I couldn’t watch any longer either.. All emotion had been stripped away from me. I felt myself moving towards the tiger, awaiting the animals claws. I wanted to join my princess in the afterlife. The tiger saw me and tossed her body off to the side. Longing for a new, lively prey it began to make its grand leap through the air onto my body. I heard the young maiden I was supposed to marry scream, and I welcomed the tiger with open arms.
