And then made our way to the school, I felt as though I
Was going to a horrible prison I really did not know what to expect. We got to the crowded school and the first person I saw was Owain my ex boyfriend, great!
I walked towards the huge school and I got really nervous.
I had to put my nerves at ease I walked straight in and straight to Mr Jones. He handed me my results in a small brown envelope I didn’t know what to do with it, should I open it or rip it up. I opened it the first thing I thought was “Oh my god, I haven’t got a U” I ran up to mother with a massive beam on my face I had passed them all.
My mother was pleased and I was so chuffed. I phoned everyone in my phonebook to tell them the good news I felt as though I had won the lottery it was brilliant.
After all the excitement I phoned my cousin Carla to tell her i’m on my way to her house so we could leave to go to Cardiff to celebrate before going to numerous house parties. I reached her house and leaped out of the car and she hugged me so tight I thought my guts were going to come out of my mouth, she passed them all swell.
My uncle opened a bottle of Champaign for us to drink before going to Cardiff. We made our way to the train station, met Bethan in the train station and Rachel was already on the train waiting for us.
We laughed all the way to Cardiff, talking about our results and what we were going to do whether it was going back to school or getting a job. Around 12 o clock we reached Cardiff we marched straight to RSVP a pub in Cardiff.
We ordered 4 bottles of the best wine, after drinking them all we had something to eat before leaving to go home. We were having such a brilliant time and we didn’t want to go home but I looked at my watch and it was 4 o’clock so we made our way home.
I stumbled towards the train station trying to hold myself and Carla up it was absolutely hysterical.
We finally got on the train, and it seemed as though 10 minutes had passed by before we reached troedyrhiw, our next stop for the partying to begin.
Me, Carla and Bethan practically fell off the train and ran to the nearest shop to get our next load of drinks. I went into the off licence and bought 3 bottles of the first thing I saw and we made our way to Vinnie’s house.
As me and Bethan walked towards vinnies house we fancied taking some pictures of each other with the 3 cameras we had bought in Cardiff, bethan put her arms around my neck to have a picture taken, she fell back and took me with her we were both on the floor laughing our heads off. And yes Carla did take a photo of us not as we planned though.
We finally reached Vinnie’s house, it stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the houses it had people everywhere outside and millions out on the street walking towards the house. As soon as I got there I put my drink in the fridge and went straight in the living room to say hey to everybody.
Everyone I talked to was absolutely smashed it was hilarious that everyone was in the same state as me. It was all going well until everyone started piling out of the house, I didn’t have a clue why! By this time my other cousin Paula had turned up and she was sober, we had to sort that out for definite. There were around 50 sixteen year olds walking out of Vinnies house down the street towards the next house party. As soon as we all left the house we all went to the nearest chip shop, I loved it, as I was so starving from not eating much all day I would have eaten anything.
We all planned to go to Jessica’s house which was down the road but as me Carla, Bethan and Paula were strolling towards the house Chuddy our other mate come running towards us saying we had to go to The Railway, a pub in Troedyrhiw. So about 30 went to Jessica’s house and all the rest of us went to The Railway. Id never been to this pub before, when I got there I could not believe my eyes; it wasn’t even as big as my living room.
I was only there for about 2 hours and id drunk loads taken a million pictures and introduced myself to everybody I didn’t know, they must have thought I was a right nutter.
I finally left to go home at 1 o clock. I literally fell through my front door and straight to the kitchen for some food. I found a container half full with rice and curry it was freezing, but I eat it. I stumbled up the stairs and in to my mother’s bedroom to tell her what a great day I had, I swayed back and fore while telling her she laughed her head off and took me into bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was fast asleep. What a day!
