Like the Avengers, there are many other superhero movies. Examples are Superman, Spiderman, and Wolverine. A superhero movie consists of a hero who possesses extraordinary, often magical powers. Last, a superhero movie includes a fight between the superhero and the super villain or archenemy. Another type of movie I like is Comedy movies. I like comedies because they can be really funny. Which makes me laugh, and it feels good to get a good laugh in. The definition of comedy is a play or movie of light and humorous character with a happy or cheerful ending. These films are created to elicit laughter from the audience. Comedies are usually lighthearted dramas and are made to amuse and entertain the audiences. The comedy genre often humorously xaggerates situations, speech, and expressions. Last, my least but most favorite movie genre is Horror. I like horror movies because they keep you on the edge of your seat and give you a sense of thrill in you body though out the movie. Classic horror films are Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Exorcist. Horror films often deal with nightmares, hidden fears, revulsions and terror of the unknown. Plots within the horror genre often involve the intrusion of an evil force, event, or personage, commonly of supernatural origin, into the everyday world.
Prevalent elements include ghosts, aliens, vampires, werewolves, curses, Satanism, demons, gore, torture, vicious animals, monsters, zombies, cannibals, and serial killers. Conversely, movies about the supernatural are not necessarily always horrific. Overall, there are a lot of different types of movies. My favorite is action movies dealing with super heroes. A super hero moive is one that shows good deeds, a comedy is to give you a good laugh, and a horror movie is to keep you on the edge of your seat.
