Over the past Two decades the number of the reported conflicts has been increasing significantly where the religion is a salient factor of such violence. A research that was carried out by two United States social scientists indicated that religion has motivated terrorism and wars especially in those questions modern legitimacy of the society. It is for the above reasons that we can say that religion has got a direct connection to violence and war. Ideology certainty is commonality that is strong between the communists and the fascists have. It offers an opportunity for them to kill people who are innocent in large numbers due to that it easy for them to say that you are wrong and we are right and thus they justify that they can kill, exile, arrest or harass others. Religion itself is a mental system of construction, an ideology, due to that there are no sorts of any gods. When the actions that are done in religions are compared with those of communism all are the same, the difference between the two is only that in religion what matters most is afterlife, while the communism who are concerned most on the material things, it is only this life that maters most (Edwards, 2004, pp. 82).
The historical reality is that despite the ideology or the religion, those who have got absolutist beliefs who have been found to engage in serious crimes, those people who will not firmly keep any of their ideas or word questioning who are willing the most to kill other people they are not agreeing with. Religion may not specifically facilitate brutality, but makes it easier. This is because unlike the communism, the religion has a god than can not be questioned over certain issues.
