In a recent interview with Hookt.com, P talked about working with hip-hop’s most sought after producer. “We got Dr. Dre…it ain’t no limit,” P told Hookt.com. “Dre is working on Snoop’s album, so we got that connection anyway. On MTV’s DFX Sway reported that Dr. Dre has in fact signed one of the best lyricists of all time, Rakim to Aftermath Records. Rakim has an album coming out in the year 2001 called “Oh My God”. Confidential, Inc. which has hitmaker producers; Dr. Dre, Battlecat and Fred Wreck for their stable of new artists. L.A. Confidential artists consists of Knoc-Turn’al, Slip Capone and Time Bomb. Big D, CEO for L.A. Confidential, Inc. and Aaron Anderson of Music Street, Inc. who serves as Entertainment Consultant on the project informed us that the first song to be released is a Battlecat track entitled “All About The Doe” featuring Knoc-Turn’al along with a Fred Wreck tune called, “Let’s All Roll” which features L.A. Confidential (Knoc-Turn’al, Slip Capone and Time Bomb) as well as Jayo Felony as a guest artist on the song. The buzz is that Dr. Dre is currently working on his third song for the project. The CD is due out in the first quarter of 2001. Without a doubt, this project will surely serve notice that Los Angeles rappers are reclaiming their place at the forefront of Hi.
