Steve Jobs - Part 3

Steve Jobs

It seems impossible that creativity would run the computer industry, but Steve Jobs makes it happen - Steve Jobs introduction. Steve, the charismatic founder and current CEO of Apple Inc, has disproved the rule that arts, computers, and business do not and cannot work together effectively.        Elkind (2008) described Steve as a global and cultural guru – his creativity has enabled him to completely re-define the computer industry. In 1976, he developed the personal computer with Apple co-founder Wozniak as a response to large and expensive computer mainframes (Advameg, Inc., 2007). Thus, Steve wiped out the need for bulky and pricey processors and changed how the computer industry manufactures computers (Advameg, Inc., 2007).
