I think Paul and Connie are alike in so many ways especially because they were both teenagers who had a special love for music. One of the way I think they were alike is that they both had great and very vivid imagination. In the story Where are you going, Where have you been, Connie spent some of her summer, “thinking and dreaming about the boys she meet, But all the boys fell back and dissolved into a single face that was not even a face, but an idea, a feeling. ” This clearly indicates her how much of a great imagination she had.

In the story Paul’s Case, Paul, “telling them the most incredible stories of his familiarity with these people, acquaintance with the soloists and having lunch with them. ” What a great imagination Paul had! In my opinion I think they were both liars in the story Where are you going, Where have u been,” her mother was so simple, Connie thought, that it was may cruel to fool her fool her so much. ” This clearly indicates she was a liar. In the Paul’s Case, when Paul went to the office, “said his mother and father had been abroad, and he had come down to await the arrival of their steamer. This is evidence that Paul also was a liar.

On the contrary Paul and Connie were very different in several ways Paul was rather a brave where as Connie was coward, also was rather a very conceited girl were as Paul was not. In the story Paul’s case, “not once, but a hundred times Paul had planned this entry into New York. ” Paul being a child, traveling all the way from Pittsburg to New York all by himself is very remarkable and brave. In the story, where are you going, where have you been Connie, “was so sick with fear that she could do nothing but listen? ” In my opinion this is clearly a sign of being coward.
