I myself agree with the quote “It is better to die for what you believe in rather than to lie to save your life”, because if you stand up for what you believe in then it gives your life some kind or purpose. It doesn’t matter what it is that you believe in, as long as it feels right and means something to you then its worth standing up for.
Some people would not agree with this quote saying that they would rather lie so save life and live another day then stand up for what they believe in and die today.
They believe that if you are most likely going to die for standing up for something then its not worth standing up for. It’s those people that will realize later on in life that their life has little purpose and that they don’t feel complete and happy like they thought they would, the lying didn’t really save them at all, because that lie made the rest of their life miserable and not really worth living, now they have to live with the guilt from that lie.
Why would somebody want to live life with no purpose because they lied to save and regret it later, then stand up for what you believe in and find that purpose in life because you know it is the right thing to do.
Dying for what you believe in may seem extreme and not worth it, but if you lie and save your life your will most likely regret it. Standing up for what you believe in, not matter the consequences, should always be what is done, for it is right and makes life worth living.
