The author has revealed that during high school years juvenile justice played detrimental role in educational process as it resulted in increased rates of school dropping. First-time arrest without court has resulted in less number of school droppings.  The results support labeling theory stressing that the more court involved in arrest and criminal justice system, the more arrestee are provided with lower self-esteem and negative self-concept. Therefore, mainstream values and behavior remains offside. Court appearance does negatively affect educational outcomes for young people with the first arrest.
