Storyteller: Now I am going to tell you the story of Tracy Beaker. Tracy’s mum leaves her alone in the Children’s Home and goes away to the other place! And Tracy becomes an orphan. You see, Uncle Ted and Auntie Julie want to adopt her! What will happen? Let’s see!
(In the Children’s Home)
(Ted and Julie are entering from the right hand side)
Julie (Walk close to Tracy and squeeze her face): Oh! Dimond, you are so cute!
Storyteller: (Walk out to the stage and shock) Yuck! I feel disgust!
Tracy:(impolite) No! I’m not Dimond, I’m Tracy, and my full name is TRACY BEAKER!!!!
Tracy: Never mind.
Julie: (look at Ted) Can we adopt her?
Ted: Ok, it’s up to you, I don’t care.
Tracy put Ted’s baby in the cupboard and Ted is very angry, and then he sends her back to the Children’s Home.
(In Ted ‘s house)
Storyteller: Oh! Naughty Tracy makes some trouble again!
Ted: (angry) Tracy Beaker!!! You see what have you done?
Tracy: (scare) I…I just played … played with the baby.
Ted: (angry) Play!? You mean that you put the baby in the cupboard is just for playing? You should know that he would die! This is serious! This home is not suitable for you, so pack your things NOW!
Julie (come in and block the way of Ted): (request) Please, don’t be so cruel, Tracy is just a ten-year-old girl!
Ted:(heartless) I can’t forgive her anymore! She make too much trouble for us, I can’t accept her attitude anymore. I have decided it already, no one change it.
(Julie takes a tissue and burst into tears and run away)
Tracy comes back to the Children’s Home, Peter and Jenny concern about her, but Tracy distorted their meaning, she thinks they want to laugh at her, so Tracy is very angry and she does not listen to them, then she ran away.
Storyteller: Even though, Tracy’s life is unfortunate, but she doesn’t complain anything and some people concern her a lot, like Jenny and Peter.
(In Children’s Home)
(Jenny and Peter see Tracy come back, so they walk toward her and console her)
Jenny: (happy) How are you recently?
Peter: We miss you so much!
Tracy: (feeling disagreeable) Shut up your dirty month! I know you want to laugh at me!
Peter: (nervous) No! No! No! You have distorted our meaning we only want to concern you. I am not going to laugh at you!
Tracy: (angry) I don’t believe you. I don’t want to listen to you!
(Tracy turns back and leaves away)
Jenny: Hope that she will understand us.

The next day, Jenny goes to keep an appointment. Then Tracy gave her a worm and

(Jenny eats it, and then she kneel down)
Tracy: (shock) Really? You eat it?
Jenny: Oh! Am I in the heaven? Is there any ring of the light above my head?
Tracy: No, you are still alive. Wait for a moment, I will take off my clothes.
Jenny: Fortunately, I still alive. (Turn back and facing Tracy) Ah! You have to take off your clothes.

(Peter comes in)

After a few days, auntie Peggy and uncle Sid come to the Children’s Home and want to adopt Tracy Beaker because they haven’t got any child.
Storyteller: See! There are two strangers come to Children’s Home. What they want to do?

(Peggy and Sid walk closer Tracy)
Peggy: Are you Tracy?
Tracy: Yes, I am. What’s up?
Sid: We are auntie Peggy and uncle Sid. We are going to adopt you. You will have a new home. We will pick you up tomorrow.
(Peggy and Sid leave)
Jenny and Peter don’t want Tracy to leave. They are saying good-bye to her.
Storyteller: Jenny and Peter are saying good-bye to Tracy.

In Peggy’s home Tracy can feel family love and she try to concern others. But one day, Peggy is sick, everyone is very nervous about that, including Tracy.
Storyteller: Tracy feel family love and she try to change her attitude. But there is something happen in Peggy’s home. Listen! Peggy needs help!
Peggy: Help…help! Can someone help me?
Sid: I’m here. What’s going on?
Peggy: (lay down in Sid’s arm): Tracy, I need some water, please.
Tracy: Yes, mum.
(Tracy gives Peggy a bottle of water)
Tracy: Here, mum.
(After Peggy drank the water, she get well)
Sid: (worry) What’s the matter with you?
Peggy: I don’t know. I always feel tired recently.
Sid: Let’s go to see the doctor. (Turn back and facing Tracy) You are too young, you stay at home and wait for us.

Peggy and Sid come back home and tell Tracy that Peggy has a baby. They are worry about their burden of economy. But Tracy is very happy because she’s going to have a baby sister or brother.
Storyteller: Sid and Peggy know important news. It is….
Sid: Tracy, we have something to tell you.
(Tracy comes from left hand side)
Sid: You’re going to have a baby sister or brother.
Tracy: Wow! Really? It’s good!
Peggy: We don’t have enough money to bring up two kids. What should we do?
Sid: Maybe we should abandon Tracy.
Peggy: But Tracy will be very poor.
Sid: Actually, I don’t want she leave us also, but I still haven’t decided it. Let’s see.
Tracy is very excited. She always think of what will she do with the baby. But Peggy and Sid are very sad because they determine to send Tracy back to Children’s Home.
Storyteller: You see! Tracy’s imagining what she will do with the baby again.
Tracy: I will teach him how to walk. I will help him to change the diaper. I will feed him with milk and play with him.
Storyteller: A few months later.
(Peggy and Sid enter from the right hand side)
Sid: Tracy, come in.
Tracy: Yes sir.
Sid: Tracy, you know that we have a baby, so that we can’t continue to grow you up. Do you understand what do I mean?
Tracy: (angry) I can’t believe it! How can you do that to me?
Peggy: I’m so sorry, but we don’t have another chance. Hope you can forgive us.
Tracy: Everybody in the world is bad, they’re all heartless, and you only care yourself.
Sid and Peggy: Tracy!
(Tracy run away to the left hand side)
After this event, Tracy returns to her lonely world. She doesn’t believe and talk to anyone. Jenny and Peter are very worry about her.
Storyteller: Tracy comes back to Children’s Home and there is a teacher called Camilla. She sees Tracy sits alone.
(Camilla walks towards Tracy)
Camilla: Tracy, what are you doing here? Why you don’t play with others?
Tracy: I’m thinking about why did the people always discard me
Camilla: Do you know everybody is care about you? Like Jenny, Peter and me! (two seconds later.) You think about it.
(Five seconds later)
Tracy: Oh! I understand now!
(Tracy find Camilla)
Tracy: Camilla, I understand what do you mean.
Camilla (thinking): Ok, now I give you a package of candies, one piece of cake and a pen for you, you should share with others.
Tracy: Oh! Thanks a lot!
(Jenny and Peter Enter from the right side)
Tracy: Jenny, I’m very sorry, can you forgive me?
Jenny: I am very happy that you understand us!
Peter: Me too.
Tracy: Jenny, I give a pen for you. Peter, I share my cake with you. And here are some candies, let us eat together!
