•2.3 When working in the work shop I carry out risk assessments and job plans. I print of job sheets to see what work I will be doing and make time sheets and drawings. There is an extraction fan installed in the workshop to reduce carbon emission.
•2.4 Our workshop contributes to a low carbon emission environment by using an extraction systems built throughout the workshop to keep the emission levels at a low level.
•3.1 Carried out fire safety and manual handling talks and practices. As well as health and safety assessments.
•3.2 Jobs cards, worksheets, material lists and times sheets should be done daily.
•3.3 Documentation should be completed clearly and within timescale to keep record of what jobs are being completed, how long the job took to complete, what materials where used and how many hours were worked. Work should be carried out productively, to the agreed specification and in conjunction with the line manager. All this is necessary to ensure work is being completed promptly, correctly and safely.
•4.1 Building good relations to colleagues, customers and other relevant people are vital to ensure and maintain a good working environment.
•4.2 There should be no discrimination and everyone should be treated equally. There should be respect of individuals when working and communicating with others.
•4.3 Better attitudes towards one another, a happy workforce can ensure more productivity and work completion. No one shall be bullied or discriminated against. Customers should be handled with attention and operatives should be given the correct level of communication. Working hard among different occupations will boost morale and help the workforce.
