We live in a generation full of fear, in a generation were walking on the streets is no longer and option. Were defending your rights leads to near death experiences. Were killing a fifteen year old girl is easier than trying to resolve the problems she so bravely has spoken of. This peoblems are as real as we are, Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani girl who fights for education in what is known as one of the most dangerous places on the planet to go to school, Northwest Pakistan.

After the Taliban changed how Pakistan was viewed by the world as my country has changed by the violence and started attacking girl's schools, Malala decided with only 11 years old that it was time to be heard. She addressed a speech in Penshawar, with the title "how dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?". As the controversial topic began to be notice worldwide, and even though she was afraid for her family, she didn't stop. She stood up for all those women who were suppressed by feared, she stood up for all the women who couldn't. However when she was 14 Malala was threaten to death by the Taliban, initially terror run through her veins but later on her family and her concluded that the Taliban wouldn't harm a child but they were wrong. She was shot.

Shot for defending women rights, shot for being noble, what do we respect? If we don't respect the life of a person and specially of a child, Malala has inspired many too speak up, but who will have the courage to fight for our country? Who will be the Malala of Honduras? Cause truth is we desperately need one, a women that with her passion and comprehension speaks up and makes a change. It makes me reflect the way I live, so comfortable and careless, having everything handed out to me in a golden plate but what I'm I really contributing to the world? What are You really contributing?

Malala Yousafzai is 16 year old who wasn't afraid, a teenager who stood up for girls and women in her country. Who defied those who everyone where so scared of. A girl who made a change, who's courage inspired not only her country but the world. Threats have not ended but neither have the plans Malala has for her country. And the change for ours when will it come?
