The movie Pursuit of Happyness is a very good representation of how hard life can be for some people. In this case, the person was Chris who was struggling to hold onto a job and provide for his family. Due to the difficulty of holding onto a job, his wife divorced him and tried to take their son from him. This set Chris into motion to try his hardest to be able to provide for his only child. He made many choices trying to do what was best for his son.

One of these choices was to leave one of his Bone Density Scanners in the hands of a woman he didn’t know, so he could make it to an interview. Because of this, the interview didn’t really go anywhere and he had to run out after the woman so she couldn’t steal it. He ended up catching her and taking it back. A second choice he made that affected his achievements was not paying his tickets. This caused him to have to go to jail for a night and him having to call his ex-wife so she could come pick up their son. This caused him to go into a rage to provide for his son and to be a good father, driving him to interviews and other things.

A final choice he made was getting into the taxi with the man who was going to interview him, who was trying to solve a rubi cube. Chris ended up finishing it for him, which made the man realize he was a unique person and therefore presented him with a job opportunity. Chris made many decisions over the course of the movie, some good and others bad. In the end though, everything turned out all right. All choices we make impact our lives in ways we can and can’t see.
