Who Is Responsible For The Death of Romeo and Juliet?

Updated: November 28, 2022
Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths.
Detailed answer:

There are a lot of people who could be responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. I’s not just one person! It’s actually several people. Let’s start with the Montagues and Capulets. They are both responsible because they were fighting over something silly (the color of their houses) and that led to their children getting married and dying. The feud between the two families started when Lord Montague killed Tybalt in a duel, so now there is a vendetta on both sides—and it gets worse every year! Then there are Romeo and Juliet themselves, who also should have thought about what would happen if they got married! They knew that their families didn’t like each other, but they still decided to do it anyway. That’s not very smart! And then there are Friar Lawrence, Tybalt, Lady Capulet and Lord Capulet too—all of them had some part in causing the deaths of these two young lovers because they either helped or hindered their relationship in some way. There are a lot of people who could be responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
