Diary of a Wimpy Kid is an American children’s novel series by Jeff Kinney. The stories in the series are told in the form of cartoons, with each story representing one day in the life of protagonist Greg Heffley.
The novel was first published as a web comic on FunBrain and was later published as a book by Amulet Books, a branch of Abrams Books for Young Readers. The series has been immensely popular, spawning 12 books and 3 movies.
