Confucius believed that by following the principles of his philosophy, people could create a more harmonious and just society. Confucius created his philosophy because he wanted to create a system of moral guidelines that would be used to improve society. He believed that by following these guidelines, people would be able to create a more harmonious and just society.
Philosophers’ life was dedicated to teaching others the values essential for living a good life and creating a harmonious society. He developed his philosophy based on this idea of harmony, which he called li (or “ritual”). Li refers to the proper way for people to behave in different social situations. Confucius believed that if people followed li, they would live better lives and create a more harmonious society.
In fact, Confucius was born in 551 BC in Qufu, China. He was an important figure in Chinese history who lived during the Zhou Dynasty (1046BC-256BC). Confucius was an influential philosopher and teacher whose teachings were based on humanism and ethics. He believed that people should live according to their own nature rather than trying to emulate others’ behavior or follow rules blindly.
In other words, Confucius lived during a time when China was in turmoil. The Zhou dynasty had been overthrown and replaced by warlords who controlled smaller territories. Confucius believed that this chaos was the result of social disorder and lack of respect for authority (especially from the ruling class).
In addition, Confucius’ teachings were passed down orally until they were written down by his disciples around 300 BC in what became known as The Analects of Confucius which is still studied today.
