What is Weather?
Weather and climate are interrelated, but it is worthwhile to determine the difference between them. Weather is the physical condition of the lower layer of the atmosphere, characterized by a complex of meteorological elements simultaneously observed at one or another point on the earth’s surface and formed under the influence of solar radiation, the circulating processes of the atmosphere, and also the properties of the underlying surface.
In the same city, the weather can change every few hours: a mist appears in the morning, a thunderstorm begins for dinner, and by the evening the sky is cleared of clouds.
The climate is a long-term, repeated weather regime, characteristic of a certain locality. The climate affects the terrain, water, flora, and fauna.
What is Weather Patterns?
Weather patterns are a set of continuously changing values of meteorological elements and atmospheric phenomena observed at a given moment in time at a particular point in space.
