Daredevils take risks every time they get on the bike to perform stunts. Going up ramps really fast and then doing flips in the air is a very dangerous and risky thing to do. They risk their life and injury every time they step on that bike. Taking this risk makes them and many other people happy. Risks are very important in life, if you don’t take risks in life you will always live feeling you could do more. They make you challenge yourself and open to more things. For example, taking the risks of going away to college can either pay off and mature you or it can break you but it’s a risk well worth taking.

To begin in the story Beowulf, Beowulf is the main character and he is a warrior and takes a big risk in fighting Grendel. Grendel is one of the poem’s three antagonists, all aligned in opposition against the protagonist Beowulf. Grendel is feared by all in Heorot but Beowulf. Beowulf fought him with no weapons just with his bare hands. That is a very big risks and he was able to do it and defeat Grendel. Beowulf even though he was unsure and a little scared still took the risk and defeated Beowulf so his risk payed off.

In addition, in the story the deep Tom the main character in the story has Atrial septal defect which is a whole in the heart that causes him to faint. The doctors told him he would have a lifespan of 16 years 18 if he was lucky and its best if he would not get excited. Toms mom moved Tom to a cot upstairs with no bright lights, no loud noises and nothing to excite him. He took a great risk in walking outside and going to Butcher and getting excited which could’ve caused him to faint and his life to end. Another example is him going to see Ruby and spending time with her making him super excited. If tom would’ve never taken these risks, he would’ve never felt joy.

Furthermore, taking risks might not always be a good thing sometimes they back fire and end bad. A risk that could end very bad could be investing your money and you lose it all. Investing your money in the stock market is very risky and you can lose all your money. Another risk is wearing a white shirt on rainy day it probably will not come back clean to the house.

In conclusion, taking risks are very important in life, if you don’t take risks in life you will always live feeling you could do more. They make you challenge yourself and open to more things. For example, taking the risks of going away to college can either pay off and mature you or it can break you but it’s a risk well worth taking.
