The physical changes which effect the woman are; more frequent urination, higher risk of heart disease and stroke and thinning of bones. The side effects are; nausea, breast tenderness, weight gain, fluid retention. Marriage; One of the biggest life changes anyone will experience is Marriage, it is one huge emotional roller-coaster yet one of the best times of your life. It can effect an adult in ways of making emotional and social attachments with another man/woman as well as experiencing intimacy. Meaning that they will be hitting some things which they may not have experienced before and will be with the person that they love the most.

The way in which marriage effects an adult is emotionally because it is an extremely high point to get marriage and makes you feel on top of the world, but it can unfortunately lead to some horrible points in their lives. Marriage can lead to a lack of independence and could even head into divorce, which is everyone’s worst nightmare, so this will effect the adult in a horrific emotional way. Parenthood; As well as marriage, parenthood is one of the biggest life changes you will experience. You are bringing a new life into the world and you are bringing a bundle of joy into your life.

It will effect parents in a fantastic way, it will make them relive some moments of their childhood as they will be teaching an infant new skills such as how to talk, walk, eat, write and read. Which will help gain parenting and loving skills. On a downside, parenthood could effect an adults social life. It could lead to their children being to attached to them or the parent being to attached to the child meaning no free time for you to go and see their friends. Careers; Throughout adulthood people will go through a lot of different working experiences to find the right job/career for them.

They will do the best that they can to get into the career they love and will set themselves targets to do so. This will effect adults by walking them down the right paths, and making them the happiest they could be, in a job which they love and something which they have worked towards for a long time. It could also lead to redundancies meaning getting laid off from your job and going through the stage of finding another, this could lead to depression, lack of independence or lack of motivation.

Retirement; Something which everyone does at some point of their life is retire, people tend to do so in their early 60’s. Some people will love retirement because they are getting to do things which they love and get to do them any time they want. On the other hand some people may not like the retirement life, and could miss the work they used to do and could go into depression mode and could even have no motivation what so ever. This is a hard stage for some people and it effects their life dramatically.
