Did you ever look up to someone that you respect and say “I want to be like you someday” as a little kid, someone that you inspired you to do some good and to stay positive when things are bad and to never give up on you dreams some might say Obama, Gondi or Michal Jackson but I believe might inspirations is much greater than all of them.
Most of you know Ellen DeGeneres the second women to host her own talk show who prominent gay’s and lesbian’s role model. Ellen was born in a small town on January 28, 1958 in Metairie Louisiana her dad was a salesman and her loving mother was a working woman. Ellen worked as a waiter, she sold vacuums cleaners also painted houses and worked as legal secretary. Ellen devoted herself by putting that woman into school she went the University of New Orleans. She wanted to be a veteran to help saves animal’s and nurse them back to health but later figure out that she wasn’t book smart and realized her true calling what I found inspiring that one of the quotes said “I think what saved me is being honest. I think I somehow had the courage to do something and to say something that I knew would possibly end my career. Instead of making business more important, I made my soul and my life more important. And I think by being truthful, and being honest, that saved me.”
When she figures out her calling when she was joking around with her friend’s. At age 23 she began performing at local coffeehouse until she got her big debut in 1986 when, acting tips jay leno, the tonight show starring Johnny Carson sent a booking agent to catch her act at the Improv in Hollywood and began her career. When she rose to fame she started her own show called Ellen. She did many thing as she was famous like becoming a judge in American idol, the voice for dory. Ellen is currently 58 years old and a vegan she worth over 345 million and her salary is 70 million “would kill for her job “. Ellen give back to her commute she would never forget where she came from she supports Charites like stand up to cancer, stomp out bully, feeding America also general bam Susan Karmen for cures etc. she is one of the funnies person on television “My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She’s 97 now and we don’t know where the hell she is”.
This is one of the best quote that I heard that Ellen said was Start thinking positively, you will notice the difference. Instead of, ‘I think I’m a loser,’ try, ‘I am definitely a loser.’ Stop being wishy-washy about things! How much more of a loser can you be if you don’t even know you are one? Either you are a loser, or you’re not. Which is it, stupid?”. Ellen is an enormous activist for gay rights she was one of the first women in show biz to come out as begin openly gay. When she came out as begin gay she received loss of grief’s and threats but she counties to move forward and never back. She put hard work toward eliminations prejudice from her life another reason why I love her. She an inspiration to millions. A fun fact about Ellen she brought people on to her show to show there their talent and to entertain people she has change the world in various ways, she strived so much to be a better person to become the better person she is today which influenced kids and people around her to do the same. she had many up and downs but always found her way back up her stepdad abused her and most kid who dad abuse then can never get over it but Ellen did she forgave him and “just keep swimming”.
