Climate change is a real threat to humanity, and it’s something we need to be aware of.
One of the biggest problems with climate change is that it has the potential to cause various types of disasters—such as hurricanes, famine, and drought—which can have devastating effects on people across the globe. It could also lead to large-scale displacement of populations as those who live in coastal areas are forced to move inland to escape rising sea levels.
What’s more, extreme weather conditions associated with climate change could increase the number of wildfires and flash floods in many regions around the world.
These extreme weather conditions also have the potential to cause extinction of plant and animal species, as well as a decrease in biodiversity overall.
The health of humans could also be adversely affected by climate change; air pollution and the spread of disease are likely to increase as temperatures rise around the globe. This could lead to increased numbers of asthma attacks among those with respiratory issues who live near polluted areas.
The economy could suffer as a result of climate change; agriculture will be impacted by extreme weather conditions such as droughts or floods which occur at regular intervals due to rising sea levels caused by melting ice caps from glaciers around Antarctica (among other factors). This will cause food prices.
