What is reverse racism?
Racism is defined as discrimination against people based on their ethnic, racial, or national origin. The term “reverse racism” is used to describe discrimination against people of color by those who are white. Reverse racism is a real and serious problem in our society. People of color are often the victims of reverse racism.
Reverse racism can take many forms, including discrimination in housing, education, employment, and the criminal justice system. Reverse racism is often perpetuated by those in positions of power and privilege. It’s also important to remember that there are many forms of oppression—while it may seem like an individual can only be racist or not racist, we must acknowledge all forms of oppression in order for us to move forward together toward equality and social justice. We must all work together to end reverse racism!
