William James Sidis is one of the most famous people in the world. He is a mathematician and philosopher, who is famous for his work in mathematics and philosophy.
He was also a child prodigy, who had an IQ of 250 at age 10. This made him one of the smartest people in history. At age 16, he graduated from Harvard University with honors and at age 19, he published his first book Mathematics: The Final Frontier. He also wrote many other books on mathematics, philosophy and science.
Sidis’ father was one of the first American physicians to specialize in psychiatry and he worked with many prominent people of his time, such as William James, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. Sidis’ mother was also highly educated and encouraged her son’s interest in science and literature at an early age.
Sidis was born on February 1st 1899 in Boston, Massachusetts. His father was Boris Sidis, a Russian immigrant and professor at Harvard Medical School. His mother was Anna Schoenberg Sidis who came from a wealthy Jewish family that immigrated from Russia during the pogroms. Boris Sidis wanted to study medicine but he couldn’t afford to go to medical school so he became a lawyer instead but still practiced medicine on the side as a hobby!
