Since I have been here at Piedmont Community College I have had a lot of responsibilities. They all started when I signed up for this school. In some cases, recent high school graduates such as myself were preparing themselves for the college experience. One of the most important things about mastering my education in college involves starting to learn myself, receiving my education, also uphold my social responsibilities. This experience surrounds many features of my life that will have a great impact upon the identity I had created for myself.
Attending college allow me to develop independent skills and thinking. With all of this being said so far, turning in my assignments are not as difficult as high school students think. Yes, you have due dates but if you are actually doing your work and not procrastinating, you’re most likely to get your work turned in on time. So far being enrolled in college, I was given the opportunity to think While enrolled in college, students are given the opportunity to think freely and develop plenty of ao personalities. College is the opportunity to pursue your interest. One thing I had to learn was that a college student should allow staying positive and motivated, and also learn how to manage time. There are many different areas included in college life that will slap you right in the face. As a college student, you are committed to understanding all of your responsibilities. You have to understand though responsibilities is a choice that you have to make. Taking personal responsibilities for something gives you to measure up to. Believe it or not, it is also a key to college success.
Financial Aid is very important when it comes to getting into college. As we all know college cost is outrageous. But, future students should not be so afraid to apply. There are a large number of students enrolling in college. These students have families that do not have the money to afford the tuition, books, and so much more. I know this for a fact because I have people in my family who struggles getting into college because they can’t afford it. Going to school and trying to afford it can be very tough at times. It can also make you not even want to go to school anymore, and I know that speaking for myself. It has gotten to the point where our government has made many relevant changes to better students and their families.
Financial aid is very helpful. I say this because it helps with scholarships, loans, and grants. While education can open many doors, success relies on it as much as we do. I have always had the desire and the determination, but lacked on the money. This Is where the scholarships and financial aid came in handy. I received so many scholarships, just for simple stuff like, being left-handed and being able to play an instrument. Seriously they are really helpful and can cause you to go a lot further in life, instead of just getting one degree you can get as high as you want. So with everything that I have said, responsibility is very important when it comes to college.
