The mayor of Hollywood Hills is concerned about loss of electricity which may cause rolling blackouts during peak demand times in the hot summer months.
This may lead to angry residents, loss of food, property, lower city wide business production and services and loss of life.
Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this research is to inform the Mayor of Hollywood Hills if there is a correlation in reference to the number rooms in a house and annual electricity consumption.
Is there a correlation between the number of rooms in a house and the amount of electricity used in a year as measured by kilowatt-hoursNull and Alternative Hypothesis
H0: There is no significant correlation between the number of rooms in a house and the annual electricity consumption.
H1: There is a significant correlation between the number of rooms in a house and the annual electricity consumption.
