It was a dream come true! When I received an email from the Vice President of Enrollment at Hult International Business School on February the ninth telling me that they were interested on me, I could not believe it. To study abroad and being able to interact with different cultures is one of the things I have always wanted. And when I read the programs you were offering, in particular the Master of International Business, I was instantly captivated. But what I really liked the most about the school was the international element and the fact that I can rotate through the different campuses and to study and work in the world’s leading economies.
Since I was a child I always wanted to be in charge of every activity, at the school, at the cultural plays, even when I played with my friends, I needed to be the leader, to be the chief. And I knew that in the future I would want the same, I would want to be my own boss, to create my own business, my own company.
And which better way of achieving my dream and learning how today business world works, than studying in Boston, the capital of the higher education in the world, and specifically at Boston Hult International School, a unique school that brings together students from all over the world. But my goal in life is not only to be a respected business woman, is also to leave an impact in people’s life, to be the difference in the world, so I want to use my knowledge to solve real world problems, and I know that Hult will help me to accomplish my dreams and aspirations.
The other passion of my life is languages. The ability of being able to communicate in different languages across cultures from all over the world just amazed my mind every time I thought of it while growing. When I was in high school I watched the movie The Interpreter stared by Nicole Kidman, and if I was interested on learning languages this movie just reaffirmed my desires of not letting languages to be a barrier in my life.
So I decided to major in English and German as a second language. I am a very confident, ambitious and passionate person, with an open mind and a never-give-up spirit, willing to do the impossible to achieve the things I want, like Nelson Mandela says “It always seems impossible until it’s done”.
I am sure that combining my ability to use more than one language to communicate my skills and this master program degree, I am going to become a successful business woman able to use business to solve social problems around the world. I would love to be a student at Hult International Business School and to be part of the next generation of global business leaders.
