Boy Found Dead in Alley
Lying in a pool of his own blood , 16 year old Andy Ritchie was found in an alley near Alfredo’s convenience store, March 12, around 12am. He was found stabbed right under his rib cage and died from blood loss. The Police Officer on the case said that he was “A Royal” and that he was probably involved in a rumble with another gang preferably “The Guardians”. Fred Smith said he saw Andy in the alley that night. Mr.Smith informed me that when he found him he was “so drunk he couldn’t even stand” and that he “didn’t know he was that young” or he would have definitely called the police. Laura Andy’s former girlfriend said that he said was going to go get a pack of cigarettes from the candy shop a block away. However the owner of the candy shop said that no one by the look or name of Andy entered the store that evening. People from the neighborhood spoke about how it was not rare for this thing to happen and that he should not of been walking alone at that time of day . Andy’s family said that he was a great kid and that he planned to one day to go to teachers college with his girlfriend and eventually teach in Staten Island. A warning has gone out to the city stating that people should have “walking buddies” while walking around in the evening. conclusion
