WaterpollutionIndustrial current demand and surrounding exposures are the best answer why I chose Environmental Health. In Malaysia, most of industrial institution need at least one person have a knowledge in environmental. Furthermore, I am on going to hold a Safety and Health Officer Certificate from National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Malaysia. The course is just begin on 2nd March 2013 and will be end on 12th May 2013. It will be most important competency for Malaysian Industry.
By the knowledge that I gained from that course, I must have a further knowledge in environmental engineering and science, so, I can apply my knowledge during my future work. During my undergraduate, my study is majoring in Chemistry. I have been exposed with a lot of negative effect of chemicals used on environment. Our Earth is getting weaker day by day because of our current technologies. As a human, we should know on what is happened, how it happened, and what the solutions are.
So, by study this course, I will gain my knowledge and will share with others in my country. Water, air and soil are polluted by humans. It not only hurts nature, but is dangerous to people. So, this will be the job for environmental engineers to solve the problems. They will clean up the messes that others have made and prevent new ones from happening. After graduate with the Master of Science qualification, I want to work with oil and gas industry as a Safety, Health and Environmental Officer.
In my country, the numbers of expert in the safety, health and environmental are quite small. So, I want to prove to my country that women also can work and expert in this sector. While focusing on study, I am also involved myself in sports. I am playing netball and work out in gymnasium 5 times a week. This is to make my body healthier and released my stress. Since my primary school until undergraduate level of study, I have learned Arabic Language as my third language. I am also passion to learn other languages such as French, German.
