Detailed answer:

Hercules is a famous Greek hero who is known for completing twelve labors. The first ten were done in order to become immortal, while the final two were done as a gift to King Eurystheus to show his gratitude for releasing him from his prison.

Some of Hercules’ famous feats include killing the Nemean Lion, slaying the Hydra and capturing Cerberus. The Nemean Lion was a vicious beast that would terrorize the region of Nemea. To kill it, Hercules had to strangle it by its neck so that he could use its own claws to pierce its heart. Hercules also had to fight with another lion called the Lernaean Hydra which had nine heads and lived on the island of Lerna. The heads of this creature were immortal unless they were cut off, so Hercules chopped off each one with an axe before cauterizing each wound with fire to prevent them from growing back again. Finally, Hercules captured Cerberus which was a three-headed dog that guarded the gates of Hades (the underworld). He did this by holding onto one head while using his other arm to choke another one until they both passed out from exhaustion and then tied them up with chains until they woke up again.
