To complete the course and to get experience I have chosen that nursery, cause think it is suitable for me, it is near from the place where I live, has a good reputation and offer a good learning for children, and the team there is kindly, friendly and feel like I worked there for long time. The children that I will be working with is from age 0-5, which is a course requirement according to WAGES website. Searched location, type etc You can attach letter from college stating you were accepted on the course, the deter the college gave you for placement, confirmation of placement as evidence During the interview for my course I was given a letter to take to the placement explaining the course I am doing and why I need the placement. Then I started to search for the placement. To find placement I went in person by searching various Nursery. I went there in person to speak with manager about me and if possible doing a work placement that I have to do to finish it, that is required to do as a part of my Level 2 Child Care Course.
When I went there and explained things with the manager, she was able to fill n the information letter and signed and I was able to start the placement next week. I hope to achieve ore skills how to become a teacher, gaining more knowledge and improve my overall child care skills. My goal is to gain the skills and knowledge to do the best possible observation on children. My work placement will provide me with a chance to learn and to practice different methods used doing a observation on a child, because they will show me how to do in right way, and I can practice, and will be able to get checked by the manager and she can give me the feedback. Further my placement will give me notes and confidence how to make better observations.
My placement relates to my line of work that I would be seeking employment, giving me necessary skills and professional knowledge about the child care and teaching. As my intended employment is to become a child career or teacher in the future, this experience I gain has a great value in terms of academic skills and that of teaching and overall care for children . The work placement will provide me a chance to actually get experience in their setting, and provide me with references. The experience will prepare me for employment once I complete the course.
