Why do animals end up in dog pounds or end up dead? There is a lot of people who dislike animals and tend to hurt them. Animal abusers are usually people who work in pawns or have anger issues and take it out on animals. Some people also decide to leave them on streets because they don’t want them anymore. It is not fair for animals to go through an abuse because animals are like family once you have them for years. It will be hard for them to be near people once they get abused. There are many animals out there that don’t have a shelter and nice people to care for them. Although, animals are not humans, animal abuse is not right, because animals cannot defend themselves.
Many animals lives are on risk when they go through animal abuse. At times animals are found dead or injured on the street and sometimes it is because of the abuse they’ve been through. Animals aren’t just animals, they are like human, they suffer like human. They’re like family you should never see an animal trying their best to live, you should help them from risking their lives. Some get abused because their owners might have anger issues and people tempt to take out the anger out on them. Many are risking their lives by living in the street and not being able to eat or or have a shelter to live in, and sometimes end up dying. They starve to death while others are living their best lives in a nice shelter with good people. Never let an animal think they aren’t loved, if you see an animal on the street needing for food or help try giving them a little bit of help.
Animals abuse is an occurring problem in the U.S. but can be prevented if we take action on it. We people can prevent many things for animal abuse to stop but sometimes we don’t know how to react to it. Animals are sometimes treated as friends or family but are also treated as enemies. People hurt animals in the most horrific ways possible, for example, stabbing them with knifes or any sharp object while they are still alive. Dropping them from heights to break their legs and necks and other bones. Many animals are tortured and killed just for their skins to be able to make things out of it. Also, people who don’t have money to afford food tend to go hunting for animals and kill them to eat themselves and feed their families. Many animals don’t deserve to die that way. Every kind of animal gets abused, the most common one is dogs. Dogs are most likely to get abused more often and left in streets without food or anything to live. If you have a pet yourself and see another pet on the streets think twice about it and help them out instead of driving by and starring.
When an animal is abused they will fear to be near anyone who tries to pet them or help them out. They will be aggressive with whoever goes near them because they think they might get hurt again. It will take time for an animal to have confidence in a person who’s trying to help them and give them a shelter to live in. No animal should have fear to people who want to help them and give them love. Not every person is an animal abuser, some love animals and wish they can have every animal in the world. Most people out there are animal lovers and would never do any harm to no animal especially abuse them in any way. Some of the animals that get abused not only end up injured but also dead because some people just don’t have a heart. Not every person out there is an animal person but they also don’t have no right to treat them like they’re nothing in this world. Some animals might be aggressive but that doesn’t mean they’re bad, it takes time to get love from an animal.
Every animal is different when they get abused or get harmed in a really bad way. Some want to be loved right away and feel like they are cared for but others don’t want nothing or no one near them. Not every animal will get used to being around people again, they will need time. I think it is wrong for people to harm animals over and over every time they feel like it. People tend to hurt animals with no reason at all some just like to hurt others with no fault. It is unfair for innocent animals to get abused by people who dislike animals. If someone dislikes an animal then why be near it or harm it why not just leave it alone and continue being you. Not every animal will get rid of that fear they have in them, they might be confident with others but still be scared of getting hurt again.
People tend to be cruel and inhumane when it comes to animals. Many people might have anger problems and tend to take it out on animals and end up hurting them. They treat them like if they are an object, not cared for, or like they are a piece of trash. Many animals suffer not only in the street but also in their homes by their own owners. Animals should not go through animal abuse because if that was a person they would right away do something about it. Animals should be treated like a human and be loved like a human. There is no reason to harm an animal when all they want is live and a good shelter with nice people to live in. They don’t ask for much because they can’t talk but all an animal wants is to either have a good shelter or be treated right and not get abused. If they get abused often not only do the animals need to be removed from the home, but these people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It is wrong to abuse a poor animal that just wants to live happy and have a good life like other animals out there.
Many animals fall in the wrong hands, in other places like in circuses, pawns or even in the streets. Some people who dislike animals tend to kick them if they go near them or harm them for no reason. Not only dogs or cats get abused but also animals in the circus or any animal in general. Animals in the circus get abused by getting hit with electric sticks and sharp objects to make them train for entertainment. Animals in the zoo get abused by people throwing them things and not caring. The animal that is the most abused in the planet ate chickens. An animal is abused every 10 seconds in this country. No matter when or where you look, someone, somewhere in the country has done something bad to a pet. Most abuse and neglect is unintentional and committed by people who are ignorant about the proper way to care for a pet. These people need education and visits from animal control to learn how to better care for their pets. Rather than ignoring an animal and leaving it to suffer, these people commit deliberate acts of cruelty that may include physically abusing, maiming, torturing or killing an animal.
Animals do not have rights, therefore it is acceptable to experiment on them. Animal testing saves a lot of money for the government. Also, many animals have similar DNA to humans, so scientists test on animals instead of us humans. Animal testing has contributed to many life saving cures and treatments. They use animals to experiment/test different kinds of medication. The most common animals used for testing are rats, mice, rabbits, pigs, and dogs. Animals were good for testing the potency of atomic bombs. They got sent to space to see if a humans life can be possible there. They tested on animals to not cause any harm on no human. Animal testing decreases the cost significantly, testing on humans is highly expensive. Animals are also used for demonstrative studies to the students. Drugs are also developed for use extensively on pet and farm animals. For example, when a new chemical or substance is found to have some effects on body physiology, it is first evaluated on animals. They test medications, drugs, etc, on animals before testing it on a human because they don’t want to cause harm or any damage on any human. Also, laws protect all lab animals from cruelty during testing.
It is absolutely heartbreaking knowing that all types of animals are being physically and verbally abused every single day. There are many people out there that try to do everything they can to prevent all of the abusing but sometimes it isn’t enough. Animal abuse will still happen no matter how hard we try and make people stop from hurting animals. Active abuse consists of hitting, killing, or forcing an animal to do something and also to have them tied up all the time. It is our job to be the voice for the animals who can’t speak up for themselves. If the people who love animals see an animal getting abused or hurt they should contact the police and report it right away. Not only can it cause an animal death but that persons hurting the animal can end up going to jail. Animals get abused in ways that we would not imagine. Animals get abused every 27 seconds. They get used for testing also which could hurt them or even end up killing them. Animal testing is legal but shouldn’t be legal for many reasons. Animals bring a lot of good things to our world and lives. They protect and love us and we should love them as well. People should stop using them for advantages and stop hurting them just because.
