Use your experiences whilst on work placement to complete the tasks below. Remember to ensure that you respect confidentiality at all times. Produce a booklet explaining the role of effective communication and interpersonal interaction in the health and social care environment you completed your work placement at. (P1). Assess the role of effective communication and interpersonal interaction in he health and social care environment you completed your work placement at. Also make reference to at least two theories of communication in your answer.
Using images/diagrams discuss at least two theories of communication. (P2). Using examples from different types of health and social care environment, explain three factors that may influence communication and interpersonal interactions (P3) Explain three strategies used in health and social care environments to overcome barriers to effective communication and interpersonal interactions. (P4) Review the three strategies from P4 that are used in health and social care environments to overcome barriers to effective communication and interpersonal interactions (M2) Evaluate the three strategies from P4 that are used in health and social care environments to overcome barriers to effective communication and interpersonal interactions (D1).
Write a short essay which explains a one-to-one interaction and a group interaction during the work experience that you participated in (P5 and P6). Assess the communication and interpersonal skills that were needed for your participation in the two interactions discussed in P5 and P6 (M3). Evaluate at least four factors that influenced the effectiveness of both interactions discussed in P5 and P6.
