It is important to define these three words morality, ethics and integrity because they are important to our lives. Also, we should act upon on them in our personal and professional lives. However, there are a lot of different definition of morality, ethics and integrity due to different background of each person. Now, these are how I define each of one of morality, ethics and integrity. First, I will define morality. Morality is defined as the principles of ethical behavior given by society, culture, family, and religion.

And since each person is raised differently with very diverse experiences, each person has a unique definition of morality and ethical beliefs. For example: when we write a research the student shall not commit any act that indicates dishonesty or moral turpitude or that otherwise could materially injure the author’s reputation. Second, I will define ethics. It is the basic concepts and fundamental principles of right human conduct. It includes study of universal values such as the essential equality of all men and women, human or natural rights.

For example: in university it’s not ethical to steel other student work without permission. Finally, I will define integrity. A person with integrity consistently behaves in a manner that reflects honesty and fairness. So, honesty and fairness are the two basics of integrity. For example: we should be honest in our work and with our instructors. Also, the instructors should be fair in grading student because it is a part of integrity. In conclusion, morality, ethics and integrity are important in our life so we should learn them and make them a huge part of our personal and professional lives.
