My hometown is Dong Thap where is developing day by day. Enjoying a temperate climate, wide irrigation system, permanent fresh-water source supplied by Tien River and Hau River, and rich river deposit, the agriculture of Dong Thap keeps growing well. Some farm produce zones across Tien River and Hau River have been built up as specializing areas which supply agricultural products to serve the need of processing and export.
My hometown is more advantage to live. First of all, my hometown is not very polluted, therefore I can breath the fresh air. Besides, there is hardly any road traffic thus I can enjoy the silence in my hometown. I can also relax and go for a nice walk along the lotus pond or in the meadows. In Dong Thap, people can grow their own fruit and vegetables which are healthier than those you can buy in the greengrocer’s in the big city. Because they are hardly ever affected by pollutions from industrial factories or traffic.
Moreover, traffic is not busy and it does not cause accidents as much as in the city. Dong Thap people always try to protect their traditional habits and culture. Furthermore, people usually keep eyes on neighbors’ estates; they are helpful to each other. They always react when something strange is happening. Another advantage is the cost of food, it is cheaper and I can afford everything as well.
My Dong Thap also has a long-term history with different cultural and historical relics. Go Thap historic site is a national cultural and historic site with a complex of 5 typical relics: Go Thap Muoi, Co Tu Towel, tomb and monument of Doc Binh Kieu, Go Minh Su and Ba Chua Xu Temple. Especially, archaeologists have discovered Oc Eo cultural relics of Phu Nam Kingdom which was around 1,500 years ago.
Traditional trade villages is also one of the strengths to develop tourism in my hometown such as: Long Thuan towel weaving village, Hong Ngu fish breeding village, etc. Especiality such as Lai Vung mandarin, Chau Thanh longan, Cao Lãnh mango, Phong Hoa grapefruit. In Đồng Tháp, tourists can also listen to sweet and tormenting Dong Thap chant on the lotus fields or rice fields, visit the ancient architectures and monuments with the everage cost.
Although there are many advantages in my hometown, there are also some disadvantages. The most serious problem of living here is the problem with finding a job. There are few of companies or factories that would offer people employment. Therefore most people of the country are farmers who have to work very hard in the fields to earn their living. Those who are lucky enough, find work in nearby towns but then there is a problem with commuting as the communication network is not developed well in the country. Another bad side of country life is lack of entertainment. There are also few of cafes or cinemas where people could spend their free time and socialize with their friends.
This place is developing. The first, My hometown is more advantage to live
- Fresh air. not pollution from industrial or traffic.

The second, although this place is more advantage ,it’s also have disadvantage

Conclusion: this place is beautiful , shimmering colors in the rain. people work hard and friendly. my hometown have many food tradition and taste sweet of village to enjoy.
