When we turn on our radio to have some refreshment through music, we sometimes end up turning it off because of the annoying loud, senseless sound we would end up to. It is quite amazing how the music industry have evolved. In fact, it had seemed to people that the different genres popping on the scene have no significant basis. But then, like the cliché phrase, nothing beats the original, the classical music at its best.

Classical music might be infamous at this point of time but would never be forgotten, as it is the root of every music and song we are listening at this very moment. Classical music is the art music produced in, or rooted in, the traditions of Western liturgical and secular music, encompassing a broad period from roughly the 9th century to present times.

Like any other types of music, there are also things that singinifies classical music greatly. For the laymen, classical musics are often described as the songs that seemed to be so emotional even without any song lyrics; the songs that has very long introductions and; for the youth, the music that there mother are using for lullabies, in short, a sleepy thing to listen at. But for fromality’s sake, classical music has its own staff notation since the 16th century. This staff notation is used by composers to prescribe to the performer the pitch, speed, meter, individual rhythms and exact execution of a piece of music.

The most remarkable musician way back to the classical era would be Ludwig Van Beethoven, and there is no doubt about that. He is In fact, considered as the most influemntial musician at all time. He is a German composer and a pianist that was born on December 17, 1770, one of the most important date on the musical industry.

The classical music are classified with instruments we always see on orchestras. Classical songs are merely focused on the musical arrangement, and the song lyrics would be second on the line. The most common musical instrument that they used are classified on three general categories: the string instruments, the wind instruments and the pecussion instruments.

The string instruments, of course, is composed of the violin, guitar, harp, cielo, piano and other instrument that produces sound by the means of vibration of the strings. There are the most general bases of classical music. During an orchestra play, string instruments are the most numbered ones.

The brass instruments are those that contains resonators, in which the air is blown into a mouthpiece to produce a vibrating sounds. This categories has to minor parts: the brass instruments and the woodwind instruments. Brass instruments are the louder ones like the horns, trumpet and cornet. They are bound to produce sympathetic vibration. On the other hand, the woodwind instruments produce their sounds when the player blows air against the sharp edges of the mouth piece. Some example are the flute and reed instruments.

Lastly, the percussion instruments. They are the instrument that produces sound by means of tapping, shaking, rubbing, scraping and any other manual contact. The most famous on the family would be the drum since it is bound to be the loudest sound producer on the group.

We can never completely trace the origin of every music we are hearing and have been heard on our life. But only one thing I for sure, classical music has formed it’s legacy and would never  be forgotten genrations to generations.
