The Jollibee Commissary System is ensuring the manufacture and distribution of safe and high- quality food in the most cost-efficient manner is made possible.
There are three Commissary System sites: Santolan, Pasig City; Mandaue City, Cebu; and the central site in Canlubang, Laguna. The System, which operates 24/7, manages Jollibee’s total supply chain process. The Laguna commissary is the biggest and most advanced in the country and among Asia’s best.
Operated by Zenith Foods Corporation (ZFC), a full subsidiary of Jollibee, the newest commissary is on a 6-hectare property in the Calmelray Industrial Park.
Aided by custom-made mechanized equipment, the production lines are for the marinated Chicken Joy, frozen patties and pies, breads, sauces, hotdogs and other meat products, and dry blended goods. ZFC can service over 800 Jollibee and Greenwich stores as well. I first saw their vision and mission stated that it is to serve great tasting food, bringing the joy of eating to everyone.
I was also amazed on how it was organize everything from the point in accommodating us students we felt prioritized the reason why that this is important to a company is because the image of the company will also counts. the Jollibee Commissary production line and the functions was also discussed here first, the frozen Pattie burger line about 480,000 hamburger patties a day is turned out by the frozen patty line. This were the burger are frozen automatically ready for packaging process.
The second is the Sauce Line this is was sauce products are processed in the ZFC sauce line including those for the Jollibee bestsellers, spaghetti and palabok. This is the sauce of the spaghetti and palabok sauce was being made and mixed with special ingredients and spices as well. The third is Meat Processing Line this is where the mixture begins for ground beef, special spices are being mixed as well the standard sizes and weight are being prioritized and they also make sure that they process the Jolly hotdog in a perfect taste and especially the shape.
The fourth is the Pie Line can produce as much as 157,000 pocket pies in a 20-hour operating day. Currently, pies are exported to Jollibee stores in Hong Kong, Guam, Saipan, Brunei, and the USA. It was made for the process of peach mango pie and was sealed in white colored plastic so that the freshness will not being at risk, flavor, the shape will not be deformed. The fifth is The Bakery is for the special buns for their burgers. They make sure that they monitor the consistency texture of the buns and for the customer to be satisfied as well on their stomach.
The sixth is Mari nation Line this is for the marination of our one and only chicken joy, like what they mentioned the crispilicious and juicilicious chicken joy in the Philippines, they make sure that the marination process will be fully mixed on to the chicken ad so that once they deliver it to other branches all they need to do is to deep fry the chicken and so the taste will be all uniform and they also make sure that there is no waste for the misprocess marination and in addition to this information the chicken marination line can produce as many as 150,000 pieces a day.
The seventh is the Shanghai Line this is for the special shanghai meal process and as well for the wrapping process was made. ,meat and vegetable line this is for the 39 pesos budget meals for example those who have need to mixed with special carrots, cabbages and beef strips as well , the eight is the Bread line is designed to match the volume output of patties, i. e. also about 480,000 pieces a day also for the special buns for their burgers. I can still recall on what the Lady speaker told us that they also have the Toll Processor for the one who made the longganisa and corned beef for the breakfast meals it was not done inside the commissary but they make sure that their product is safe in a way that the originality and the name of the brand would not be sacrifice and still they quote those products that was made outside still they call their own product. Another thing that I remember is on how they make sure that they are processing the standard, they have their own team to inspect everything, the color and even the taste of the product, and they call them The Assurance Group.

In 1998 also, the frozen patty line in the Pasig commissary was awarded an ISO 9002 certification by the SGS (Societe’ Generale Surveillance) Yarsely, an international certification body. 2004 is a banner year for Vismin Foods Corporation (VFC) who has been assessed and certified by the National Meat Inspection Commission of the Department of Agriculture, to have fully met the requirements and standards of Good Manufacturing Practice, reinforcing the commissary’s “AAA” accreditation granted by the same agency.

The last factory that we visited was the Lucky Me noodle Factory no wonder this is a successful company because the majority of the Filipino people love to eat mami noodles, and to think the price itself, its very affordable that one pouch of lucky me noodle a lot of member of the family could share and gain the closeness of the family that how they promote their product. Their vision states that ‘we are a food company most admired for its agility and innovation for being number 1. No wonder they are considered as he number one because they’ve been serving the Filipinos for 2 decades they have been consistent in giving the Filipino consumer high quality products like monde biscuits and Lucky me noodles. the manufacturing plant of the Lucky Me Noodle Factory what I noticed is they don’t care if we are already college student, the way they talk to us it’s just like we are children in a birthday party, the speakers are very funny I felt like I’m in the children’s party, I saw Lucy M I’m so amaze because they had also a mascot. No wonder the product itself is especially made for the kids.
It will make yourself happy and alive when visiting this place. hey let us in and take a look at the machine that they are using for the mixture of the prepared noodles, from the point of cutting it in to strips or into pieces and and from the packaging itself . one thing that I saw is the workers are alert in to the mixture and making sure that it was positioned on the right slide because it will affect the weight and texture. So it simply shows that they are not just only depending it on the machine but proper supervision should be needed because if they didn’t do that there will be some waste as well and that would be not a good thing in the production.
The production cost will surely increase. On the last step they demonstrated on how to a make noodle. it was helpful for us to have an idea not just only depending in our own imagination they are not just only have noodle since the name of the company is Monde Nissin Corporation, they are also making biscuits like processing and manufacturing facilities are efficient and dependable actually before they shift it to making noodle this is the first product those are their biscuits like Nissin wafers,Snitch,Voice Combo, Butter Coconut and a lotmore. ere quality biscuits and many varieties of noodles are processed, packed and sealed, they wouldn’t stop only on the same process or machine because they admit that the system are still constantly studied and improved. I also saw their citations and the manufacturing plant is ISO 9001-2000 certified. I am amazed on this company because of their humility, simplicity, cheerfulness of the workers or let say the relaxation mode that f I felt in this company on how they introduce their products because they still strive for excellence in marketing and distribution as well.
No wonder there is a lot of people patronizing the product as well as the promotion and helpful benefits of the product. becsue they relate it to everybody as to whatever you lifestyle you will surely be needing their products. What I learned on this trip is the process of each production line, proper timing of the product, the cooperation and coordination of the workers which is an essential attitude of each worker and lastly the humility considered as the greatest thing of everyone success.
