The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s admissions standards are very competitive – only about 24% of those who apply will gain admission.
The lower your GPA and test scores, the greater your chances of getting rejected. To have a competitive chance of getting in, you should aim for a composite SAT score of at least 1900, an ACT composite score of at least 28, and a high school GPA of at least an “A-” average. The higher your SAT/ACT score and grades, the better your chances of getting in.
To apply, interested students will need to submit an application, high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and a non-refundable $75 application fee. Students must also submit high school class rankings, as well as AP and IB exam scores if available. Students who have already completed college or university coursework will need to submit a copy of all transcripts from these institutions.
Students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
