If the 19 year- old Sophia would have known and understood the value of education the way the 26 year-old Sophia does, you would have received this letter 8 years ago. Event, not exactly a positive one at first glance, is one of the reasons you have received this letter. I work on and off. However a year ago I working then something changed, drastically. A stack of shevels fell and broke my left hand in several places.
Despite long therapy sessions and several follow-up operations, I can honestly say that the worst result of breaking my hand was that I broke my leg. The incident has allowed me the opportunity come to the realization that I’m not immortal and I could easier be replace in a second. This revelation encouraged me to view this as a chance for a positive change and a more secure future. I am the first in my family to attend college.
My goal is to earn a Bachelor’s degree and one day open my own business. I selected accounting major because I believe that my chosen profession will enable me to fulfill my desire to expand my knowledge base of how a business operated and open many doors for me. One of my most time-consuming activities, as well as one of the most rewarding, is my involvement with Good sphered organization I have voluteen and help others individuals to get on the right path.
In additonaling in high school I join a club called FBLA which stands for Future Business leaders. On my spare time I also tutor anyone with math problems. This 26 year-old returning student has learned to appreciate the generosity of others. I hope tht by sharing my goals and activates, I have been able to give you a glimpse into the person I am and what I hope to achieve. I expect accounting to continue to be a journey which I embark upon with great enthusiasm.
