As newborn babies, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. – 1 Peter 2:2
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. – Romans 15:4

- It is the source of victory over Satan

Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, NKJV
Long ago, even before he made the world, God chose us to be his very own, through what Christ would do for us;

Put your heart right, Job. Reach out to God. Put away evil and wrong from your home. Then face the world again, firm and courageous.

When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!-TLB
O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed Be God! – Psalm 68:35
The Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says to the people,
“Come back and quietly trust in me.
Then you will be strong and secure.” But you refuse to do it.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
