Body language is a form of mental and physical ability of human non-verbal communication, which consists of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements. Humans send and interpret such signals almost entirely subconsciously. * Body language can show feelings to other person, which works in return for other people * Many times body language can give us a clear picture of what other people think and feel. Scientists have researched a lot about body language and they come up with new theories every day.
The knowledge of reading someone through his movements is something very useful especially for managers, employers, and for anyone in his everyday situations. * With careful observation, emotions may be detected from non-verbal signs. When we think of something our body always follows our thought and moves based on our thoughts and emotions. Hence, we can understand someone’s feelings by watching his face, his hands whole body. * For example: we can understand if someone is angry if he has clenched teeth, or a flushed face, or with leaning forward which means invading someone else’s space.
If someone is anxious, nervous or scared, he has damp eyes maybe a trembling lip, a pale face, gasping and holding his breath, has voice tremor, tension in his muscles or maybe he is not looking at the other person. He is sad when he is drooping off his body or he has a trembling lip, tears appear. Someone might be feeling embarrassed when his neck is red, or his face is flushed, or he’s looking away and not straight in other people’s eyes. Surprise can be illustrated when someone has raised eyebrows or an open mouth or he suddenly moves backwards.
