“Never judge a book by its cover” Have you ever heard that saying? Put your hands up if you know what bullying is? Everyone knows it. But still I will tell if someone doesn’t quite know. Bullying is to use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do something. Discrimination is to unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. A kid, crying and sniffing, has had a rough day.

Why is this

Well this boy is crying because he is a victim of racism and discrimination. Racism and discrimination affect a large group of people each and every day. It is may be a joke amongst and your friends but the truth is racism and discrimination is no joke at all. Bullying in schools has become a national dilemma. It effects students and make many students not feel safe. Bullying has both short and long term effects on the victim and as well as the bully.

When bullying happens

Most of these problems start in middle school ND continue throughout the high school. Many schools have a zero tolerance for harassment; however, many of these schools do not follow their own rules. Where bullies bully? Students are bullied in all sorts of places such as, the hallway, locker room, bus, and the classroom. Teens who are bullied are usually teased, threatened, mugged, or hit. There can be physical or nonphysical bullying that both have the same emotional effects.

Does anyone know why bullying happens

(Someone will answer) MESS, Bullying happens because of these following reasons:

  • People can direct frustrations, hurt, anger and difficulty at home or in class to you by bullying.
  • Lack of attention from friends, parents or teachers can make a person bully you, just to feel popular and seen as ‘tough’ or ‘cool’ and in charge.

Most people know that bullying is wrong. Calling someone names has absolutely no beneficial purpose. Moreover, hitting someone makes a bully feel good in the moment while doing permanent damage to the person being victimized. With the Internet, people now have even more opportunities to bully through spellbinding. The use of electronic communication to bully a person is cyber bullying.

This includes sending crude pictures, posting fake web pages, or tweeting slanderous messages. Spellbinding has subsequently led to a rise in a completely new kind of bullying. Facts for teens stated that nearly 50 percent of teens have been bullied online before. That’s half of us. Nine out of ten teens have gotten their feelings hurt online. Cyber bullying can lead to anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Once things are posted on the Internet, they are there forever. Like for example, a picture that was posted of someone I know a while back was recently posted all over Backbone.

Sixty recent of people say that their children are bullied online. My question is – has the forty percent of people did something to stop it? It seems like kids are afraid to speak up about being cyber bullied. They are probably scared of being called a snitch, or being bullied even more. Its important that we let kids/teens know that they shouldn’t be afraid to let someone know. An adult is more powerful than a kid or teen. This can be put too stop. If you see someone being cyber bullied when you’re online, say something. You could seriously save someone’s life. Don’t be selfish.

Will being popular matter hen the person you saw being cyber bullied takes their life away? “Think before you post!” It is very important to do so. You never know how much of a negative impact your post could be on someone. Be cautious. Is your hurtful post worth risking someone’s life? Now will talk about some effects. One of the effects of bullying is that it can change the victim’s personality. It can cause people who are normally confident and happy to become self- conscious, shy, and unsure. Additionally, victims of bullying may also become sad or depressed.

Their confidence might completely disappear, keeping hem from trying new things or trusting people. Once a person has been bullied, they may hesitate to participate in situations where he or she might be mocked, such as in public speaking or in sport. Despite all the negative effects of bullying, there are even far more serious consequences. People who have been bullied sometimes become so upset, scared, or depressed that they see no worth in themselves. There have been countless reports over the past few years of students committing suicide because they were bullied.

As a result of bullying, people can lose their ability to love and trust, denying hem the chance to experience a quality relationship later in their life. They might find themselves as a bad partner or they may want to be completely alone. Compounding all of these problems, victims often develop eating disorders, begin to self-injure, or require extensive psychotherapy. Social bullying can also leave people without a supportive group of friends that they can lean on and spend time with. Another unfortunate consequence of this is that bullying is often cyclical. People who have been bullied can, in an attempt to gain their power and self-esteem back, become bullies themselves.

In relation to this, bullies who are not challenged or stopped may find themselves in future positions where they can bully as adults. This is where child abusers come from. Every year per every population of 100,000 people 1 , 369. 2 black males and 895. 6 white males commit suicide due to racism and discrimination. In Aurora, Colorado 397. 6 black males committed suicide while 177. 7 white males died by the hand of racism. Due to discrimination amongst certain groups of people 1 , 572 people commit suicide every single year.
