Although I am uncertain about my future plans, I tackle upcoming challenges with excitement. I have confidence in my ability to overcome obstacles because of the difficulties I’ve faced in the past, my aspirations for the future, and my dedication to making a positive impact on society. As someone who has been homeschooled since a young age, I have encountered various hurdles, including learning how to motivate myself.
Personally seeking out opportunities for classes and activities that are often offered in traditional schooling has greatly influenced me. This experience has transformed me into a motivated self-starter, surpassing many of my peers. Particularly during my senior year, I actively pursued the opportunity to participate in joint enrollment. Moreover, being a self-starter has further developed my abilities in organizing groups and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Besides being the captain of this year’s cheerleading squad, I have also devoted my time to collaborating with different church groups and organizations. Specifically, I have been involved in Red Carpet Days and Wellspring, which respectively aid children with cancer and offer shelter for abused women. Additionally, I have taken on responsibilities like coordinating and coaching youth cheerleading teams, guiding youth groups, overseeing church programs, and actively pursuing volunteer job opportunities.
I acknowledge the dedication required to participate in these activities, which has contributed to my personal growth and maturity. Unlike many of my peers who merely had to audition for similar pursuits, I value the significance of these experiences. Post-graduation, my intention is to pursue a degree from a university in Georgia. While I remain uncertain about my choice of major, I am inclined towards business administration, complemented by a minor in sport management.
I highly value obtaining a bachelor’s degree because I believe it will greatly benefit my future endeavors. By earning a college diploma from a reputable university, I can improve my job prospects and establish connections with people from different backgrounds. These plans for my upcoming college experience excite me because they will contribute to my volunteer work and help me thrive in the community.
Having completed my college education, I am certain that my background in working with children, volunteering, and coaching will equip me to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate the younger generation. I firmly believe that by instilling strong values and establishing lofty goals for young individuals, I can actively contribute to constructing a improved society.
