My mission statement will consist of seven goals. The seven goals I shall be talking about are my academic, JROTC, and seven personal goals that I will do in the future. I have many goals I would like to talk about, but I will stick to the least amount. One thing I know for sure is I am going to have a very successful life, and be a very helpful person. The first goal I will talk about is my academic goal for this year of school. Now even though I made honors the classes I have are kind of easy. I plan on asking for extra work from my teachers to challenge my brain more and educate myself a little more.
Many people tell me I should have been in early college, but I didn’t get that option because of the time and place I moved, so I make the best of what I learn and study hard. In the future I want to be able to go to Duke University since they have the best medical field. My next goal is my future goal for my career as a cardiovascular surgeon. Once I graduate from high school I plan to sign up for Duke University and get the best education in biology and anatomy and many other fields of science that are within the human body. After my four years of college I plan on going to medical school for at least six year, even though they only really require four years. Once I get my job as a surgeon I plan on working to find cures for seizures and other problems like anxiety.
Another career that I plan on taking up is hotel management. One of my top dreams as a kid, after finding out that veterans didn’t have home to come home to was to build a hotel where any veteran could come and stay for free if they are living in the streets. I would have a second building for families who need housing that can pay money, or at least a good amount and pay the rest another day. I don’t like seeing people suffer and not be able to survive because of people that are just rude and mean. I don’t want people in this country to suffer america is suppose to be a good and safe place for anyone here, and I am going to do something about that one day. A goal I plan on doing during my time as a cardiovascular surgeon is to find a cure for all cancers and seizures, and other medical diseases like down syndrome. Not many people are affected from down syndrome, but many people in america alone contract some type of cancer and has seizures. I plan on making a cure that would work to where it can cure all types of cancer in just one type of medicine weather it be liquid, gas, or a pill.
After I do that I plan to find out about the gene that travels from generation to generation causing down syndrome. And last but not least I plan to find out how to reroute the brain to stop seizures or take the part of the brain out, or it may sound stupid, but make a artificial gene that doesn’t develop that part of the brain leaving it out of the natural substance of the brain. Now I don’t really care about the money I would be making since I’d rather help people live and be better and not be sick, because I care about society unlike a lot of people who care about themselves. With the money I make I plan on using to support my own family, and help my mother, grandma, siblings, and everyone that I can that’s in need of help. I don’t really have much use for money because I only need enough to pay my bills and feed my family and gas and other assesities. Most of my money may go to my studies for the research needed to find the cures that I want to make for humanity to survive longer than what we might think it will.
Once I complete the cures I don’t know what I’ll do with the extra money I make, but I do know that I will be making a lot from the cures, and the surgery, plus the hotel, in all honesty if I do become this successful I may become one of the richest people on the planet, but I don’t plan on letting that power take control of me like most people. My last personal goal, well like everyone, is to leave a mark in history and leave a legacy behind that everyone will know that I was a helpful person and not the demon people clam me to be. A lot of people call me names based off my anger and my looks, but within my life I plan on changing the way I’m seen, because I’m sick of how people judge people. Everyone reads the cover of someone based on their looks then immediately thinks their bad people without reading at least the first page to see what that person is about. So many people judge me by my looks and anger issues, but never get to really know the nicer side of me that I like to be. In other words I plan on finding a way to open everyone’s eyes and make them come to an understanding that we are all the same, we are all made from flesh and blood, and no matter what we all share the same DNA.
Now on to my JROTC goal, now since the reason JROTC was created was to make teens and kids like me and everyone else better people for when they grow up, that’s kind of the bases of why I’m in it. I have always been a kid that people mess with and cause to blow a lid and try to fight due to my anger, so I have a goal in the four years of JROTC to work on my anger and be able to defuse a situation without violence and to be able to control my anger unless absolutely necessary to use it. I also plan on ranking up as much as I can and be a good leader and help as much as I can. I want to also participate in many competitions for drill and color guard and help out in them and win as much as we can. JROTC is a good program for me because I know it will help me succeed in the future with my goals and help me look at life in a better view point then what I already have.
