Write your opinions In this modern era, it is really familiar to us to hear about the social problems that happen around us. For instance, the news about the baby dumping, pick-pocketing, burglars and so many others have been filled the front page of the newspaper and also become the main topics for the news-reader to talk about every day. The saddest thing is that these bad behaviors are mostly caused by the young peoples, who are still studying in the secondary schools and also universities.
It is said that these social problems among the youngster is caused by the parental negligence. This statement has been strengthened by the research in US which demonstrates that the major factor of the social problem among the youngster is because of their problematic parents. Therefore, I strongly agree with this statement which says that the parental negligence is the main cause of the social problem among youngster because of some reasons. To begin with, this parental negligence has caused the lack of love affection and attention of the parents to the children.
In this fast-paced world, most of parents come from good background educations and also have their own careers. It is really hard for us to see them staying at home, spending their time with their lovely children. It is most likely all their time are in the office. Thus, the children can eventually meet their parents in the morning before the off to work and also at night. Frankly saying, even though that the young man may looks a quite violence and gangster, actually he is still looking for their parents’ love and attentions.
They feel depressed because of this and result in their rebels. Somehow, these immature youngsters think that by making problems, they can attract their parents’ attention. For example, when a student causes some troubles in school, the principal should have called his parents to inform them about their mischievous child. Then, the parents will further this case at home and finally realize about their abandonment to their children. We can see here, that student can be intentionally caused the troubles on purpose to get their attention.
Besides that, the parents seem to give fully freedom to their children without intention. Thus, the children feel free to go anywhere and to do anything they want without anybody watching and warning. For instance, many students are involved in love relationships with their partner. However, when these relationships result in the pregnancy and also the baby dumping, the girls’ parents are never aware of this situation because of their busy works. Therefore, these girls will never know about this illegal thing that can make their life suffer and also makes them as the black sheep of the family.
This is because, they have not been told by their parents that they are behaving wrongdoings before, so they always think they are doing the right one. Lastly, parents are the closest one to their own children. As everybody knows, parents know best when it comes to their children. The children have parents to be shared about many things, to be chatted, and parents also act as their friends at home. Therefore, as the parents fail to be at their children’s side most of time, this makes the children feel very lonely, bored and also abandoned.
Sometimes they will think that their parents are not concerned about them anymore and only bother about the works. As a result, the children will look around them to find someone to be friend with to shatter their boredom. It is really unfortunate when their friends are ones of the problematic youngster. This will influence these children to imitate them doing the wrongdoings as they find them as something fun. This shows how crucial is the criteria of a good person to be chosen as our friend. In short, we can conclude here that parents influence so much in their children’s life.
Without parents at the children’s side, the children will feel lonely and this lead to the social problems in our country. Moreover, the parents are not aware enough of their children’s behaviors as they are busy with their works. Hence, the parental negligence to their children is the main factor of the social problems among the youngster as it can have impact three times stronger than other causes for this issue.
