Plot Remember The Titans tells the remarkable, inspiring true story about a football team from Virginia, asunder by racial prejudices, and who they obtain the unification and win the championship. The year is 1971, and a young black man, newcomer, named Herman Boon is hired as the head football coach at the town’s high school.

The Caucasian head coach of The Titans is replaced by an Afro-American coach from North Carolina. Tension arises when players of different races are forced together on the same football team. Williams first met and had problems getting along the coach Boone makes them go to training camp together.

The interaction of all the players, specially Gerry Bertier, Caucasian, with the Afro- American Julius Campbell as well, the cooperation of Bill Yoast and Herman Boone the team is integrated. Climax The racial tension is going away between team mates, after the good performance of the team in the games. In the celebration of the classification of the team for the championship, Gerry, the captain of The Titans, has a car accident. Hence, for The Titans to win the championship, without the captain, is almost impossible. The falling action

The Titans were playing really united in the last game, and Gerry in the hospital was watching the game, when The Titans won the championship. Resolution In the very end of the movie, there is a epilogue showing what happened to the guys after high school, and how they still get together after the death of Gerry. Julius Campbell is the African American, Gerry’s best friend at the end of the movie. Louie Lastik is the big guy who coach Boone wanted to help with his exams. Ronnie “Sunshine” Bass is son of a military officer, also he is high self esteem , and without complex. Cheryl Yoast is Coach Yoast’s Daughter, also big fan of her father, and the team.
