The leading divas of Bollywood sashayed down the runway for Salman Khan’s ‘ Being Human’ show at the HDIL Couture Week.

Last year, Salman put together an all- male crew. This year, it was all about the glamour girls.

Fashion through the ages’ was the theme of the show and a bevy of beauties walked down the runway decked in outfits designed by Manish Malhotra.

Each sequence was introduced with an audio- visual that depicted the particular period along with dances reminiscent of that specific time like tap dance sequences and qawwalis. Preity Zinta opened the sequence in a black knee- length dress, representing the flirtatious 1920s. Next in line was Katrina Kaif in a long red gown representing the elegance of the 1930s.

Rani Mukerji did full justice to the 1940s, looking beautiful in a black and white lehenga . Dusky diva Bipasha Basu wore a black gown with a fashionable thigh high slit representing the glamour of the 1950s. Karisma Kapoor was a tough act to follow in her red sari, bouffant and thumka s of the hip 1960s.

Sushmita Sen’s sultry good looks complimented by an orange coloured kaftan and a sequinned mini skirt paid the perfect tribute to divas like Zeenat Aman from the 1970s.

Priyanka Chopra sashayed down the runway in a baby- doll dress looking like the quintessential 1980s’ tease.

Kareena Kapoor’s sultry allblack jacket and suit ensemble concluded the show with a tribute to the multifaceted woman of the 1990s.
