A activist is brave because you have to be a leader for a group of people and you have to have facts to backup what you are standing up for, and above all, because you have lots of people against you.
The first reason why a activist is brave is because you have to speak in front of big crowds and this shows that you are brave because if you mess up then you could be looked at differently or if you are scared to talk in front of big crowds then it takes a lot of courage to do.
Another reason why a activist is brave is that lots of people are against you and what you are saying so they will try to tear you down and make you look bad so you have to be brave so you can stand up for yourself and not make yourself look bad.
Another reason a activist is brave is because you have to have facts to back up what you are saying because if you say something that is false then all the people who believe in you will believe what you said and false news will start spreading so you have to be brave and confident when you state your facts.
In conclusion, a activist is brave because you have to be brave to speak in front of big crowds, state your facts, and stand up for yourself.
To be a teen activist for abandon animals you have to be tough because first of all you have to treat the animals with care so that people don’t get the wrong impression on you. Second you have to be aware of where the animals came from so you don’t get a disease or get infected. You also have to be willing to share because the animal might not have a shelter or it might not have food. You also have to be willing to give away because the animal might not be healthy any more or it might have to move to a different shelter. A shelter that you could give a animal is a no kill shelter which keeps animals as long as possible or they give them to a different organization.
A girl named Kery Faye who has her own shelter and is a teen activist said “It can be a stressful juggle.” “It’s rewarding as well, so it makes it worthwhile.” They receive as much as 20 dogs a week and a majority of them are abandoned. But they often get them home quickly. They get a lot of surrendered dogs also which means that their owners could not take care of them anymore so they had to give them away. “I’d love to have a career in animal control. I quite enjoy dealing with people and making a difference” Faye says. Faye still has to go to high school for 2 more years but she hopes to keep working with animals. In conclusion, you have to be tough to be a teen activist for abandon animals.
