With Wells Fargo, in order to waive the monthly fee, there has to be a daily balance of $1,500 or direct deposit of $500 or more. When you have a savings account with Wells Fargo, you have to have at least $300 in it at all times or have $25 automatically transferred from your checking account monthly. A SunTrust savings account also requires you to have at least $300 in it daily but you can also have $5 a monthly taken out of your savings account instead. c.
