This revolutionized many industries including textiles and manufacturing. Also, a new communication tedium was invented called the telegraph. This made communicating across the ocean much faster. Workers became more productive, and since more items were manufactured, prices dropped, making exclusive and hard to make/find items available to the poor and not only the rich and elite.

Life generally improved for all. At the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, many hardships had to be overcome, causing great grief to most of the population. Faith was lost, audience was tried, and a blanket Of oppression covered the people Of Europe. When new inventions arose to facilitate the producing and mass- producing of goods that supplied the people of Europe, nearly everyone was forced to begin a new career within a factory. These are just some of the hardships that many loyal, hardworking citizens were faced with.

The reverberations of these new inventions caused a dramatic plummet of the life expectancy of an average citizen to an alarming 15 years of age. Women and children were expected to work up to 16 hours a day and doing labor that could cause serious injury, like carrying extremely heavy loads. The industrial revolution has had many beneficial effects on society and has led society down a better road. The industrial revolution was responsible for the availability of inexpensive goods for the lower and middle classes through the introduction of machines in producing goods. In addition, it had ultimately created a huge number of jobs that fit the labor force and had sparked the stagnating economies of the time.

Furthermore, it has been a huge force in the improving standards of living of the working class and has led to many important changes such as government. So while what often gets advertised are the negative effects of the industrial revolution, it does not account for the long term benefits on society. The industrial revolution has had some effect on what we have and do in our modern world in some way, whether you live in the desert or in the most populated city on Earth.
